Dr. Wu Mandelic Renewal System

I have heard Dr. Wu Mandelic Acid 18% Serum is a good face chemical peeling, which can shrink the appearance of pores and reduce pimples such as whiteheads (comedones) and blackheads. I have some large pores and some pimples on my face, so I bought 3 products of Dr. Wu Mandelic Renewal System.

1. Intensive Renewal Serum With Mandelic Acid 18%
2. Intensive Renewal Toner With Mandelic Acid
3. Daily Renewal Lotion With Mandelic Acid

According to its directions, Intensive Renewal Serum With Mandelic Acid 18% can be used only 2 to 3 times a week (use one day, then rest two days). I will use the Mandelic Acid 18% serum only on Monday's and Thursday's night. I will use Mandelic Acid Toner and Mandelic Acid Lotion every night from now on.

I have used Mandelic Acid serum the night of August 28. Then I have used Mandelic Acid toner and Mandelic Acid lotion the nights of August 29, 30. There are some active pimples which never grow on my face. Since I have used this Mandelic Renewal System, those pimples have become red and had the head forming bumps. I think this Mandelic Renewal System speeds up the pimples growth.

I was awake by the itchiness of my face at the middle of the night. It was third day that I applied Mandelic Renewal System on my face, their Mandelic Acid gave me skin allergy. My face felt very itchy. After I washed my face, I applied some Lamer cream. In the morning, my face is fine that it doesn't feel itchy anymore. I'm glad that I have Lamer cream in handy to rescue my skin allergy. 

I dared to apply the Mandelic Acid 18% serum on my face at the night of September 1 even though the treated layers of skin gradually flake away. First, I applied the Mandelic Acid 18% serum on my clean face and then washed my hands. Secondly, I applied Lancome tonique confort comforting rehydrating toner. Thirdly, I applied an Elizabeth Arden gold ultra restorative capsule. Lastly, I applied Yu-Be moisturizing skin cream.

After I used the Mandelic Renewal System for 5 weeks, my skin was totally destroyed. It grew a lot of acnes and became very dry. I decided to stop using the Mandelic Renewal System. I really regret using them. They didn't improve my skin at all, instead of giving me the worst skin.

Now I have to start using these new skincare products for my very dry skin.

Home-made Face Mask

A few days ago, I was looking to buy Swiss essence soft mask online. I couldn't find it at any websites. Later I found a bottle of Guangyuan Beam Deposited More Flavor Barley Flour at my bedroom. Its label states that it can be used as facial mask or to wash the face. I decided using it to make a face mask.

I make a mask by mixing 1/2 teaspoon yogurt or honey, 3 teaspoon Guangyuan powder with enough Guangyuan cucumber water or water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat my face with the mixture, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water. 

After I used the mask, it made my skin smoother and brighter.

Powder Mask Ingredients:

1. Guangyuan Beam Deposited More Flavor Barley Flour powder
2. Guangyuan Cucumber Water
3. Yogurt
4. Honey

Cotton Pads Mask:
Using Selena 5 layers Cotton pads, soaking them in toner, separate the 5 layers and place on the forehead, the bridge of the nose, the cheeks and the chin, respectively.  Remove them approximately 5-10 minutes when they feel dry.

After using this cotton pads mask, it made my skin super hydrated.

Aloe Vera Gel Mask:

Applying some aloe vera gel on the face, leave it on the face for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. 

I like to use Nature Republic aloe vera gel and Guangyuan aloe vera gel (I put it in the fridge for the cooling sensation).

After I used it, it made my skin soft and smooth.

Clarisonic Mia is the most popular cleansing brush in North America. It does a great job for deep cleansing the face. I use it every other day. I like to use its Delicate or Sensitive head.

Hitachi HADA CRIE is the most popular facial moisturizer massager in Japan. I bought this n810 over the other models because of its price and modes. It has four modes (1. Cleansing, 2. micro-pat, 3. moisturize, 4 refresh). I use its mode 1 and 3 mostly. Since it consumes lots of toners, I have bought a lot of facial toners. Click here to see My Facial Toners.

For the cleansing mode, I use a cotton pad with any clear toners such as Juju Cosmetics Whity Bihacon Whitening Lotion, Clarins lotion tonique sans alcool camomille.

For the micro-pat mode, I just apply any toners onto my face.

For the moisturize mode, I use a cotton pad with any toners such as SK-II facial treatment essence, Albion essential skin conditioner.

For the refresh mode, I use any milky lotions such as Rohto Hadalabo Shirojyun Albutin Milk lotion.

Its LED lights amazingly help my skin. I really like to use its LED blue light, it reduces my acne bacteria and redness.
